Enjoy a family Saturday morning at the National Library with picture book readings by guest authors and members of Wellington’s diverse multicultural community. Celebrate the growing wealth of children’s picture books in te reo Māori, Samoan, French, German, Swedish and Japanese, with Gecko Press, Huia Publishers and online children's literature website The Sapling

The Sapling’s resident crafter Fifi Colston will help children make picture book–inspired craft.

Young readers and their families can delight in the illustrations on the large screen, listen to new stories and discover old favourites in a new way.
